Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Start date: ASAP Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Ideally with students on the autism spectrum (ASD)

We are seeking Learning Support Assistants to join our College team. The role involves supporting students with additional learning needs, particularly those with ASD, in both classroom and one‑to‑one settings. Candidates should be patient, reliable, and confident working in an educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting students with ASD in lessons and around the college

• Helping to implement individual learning plans

• Encouraging independence and engagement

• Working closely with teaching staff and SEN teams

Ideal candidate

• Experience supporting students with ASD or other SEND needs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work full‑time, Monday to Friday

• A proactive and supportive approach
